I'd expect deductions for board, lodging, ski pass, ski hire, provision of company clothing, travel out and back from UK.

For those of us who don't use Apples, what editing software do people use, that's free and easy to use?

That's a real shame - was a great facility in its day. Remember seeing Eddie the Eagle jump over a load of busses there once!

I think you can ski down to Plagne Centre from there OK - PS is only just up the road from PC.
Snow wise you'll be fine - PS is at over 2000m, and PS at 1900m - if there's no snow there there won't be snow anywhere! |

They should have a qualification of some sort because they are leading a group they (their TO) has brought together, and are offering a service. They therefore have a responsibility to their clients. In the event of an accident they would be expected to take charge until the ski patrol arrive etc, etc.
Sure they don't need a full instructor's or guide's qualification, but I'm surprised people can see the difference between their role, and that of a group of friends skiing together, and therefore the responsibilities they have. |

Don't get many skiers sitting on the lee side of a lip, but boarders seem to do that a lot!
That said, few skiers or boarders seem to know the 'skiers' code, and have any idea as to where they should stop safely. |

You forgot to add that boarders trash the powder far quicker than skiers.
Love your graphic Snapzzz - spot on. Boarding for ski manufacturers to look at skis. They reshaped them and made skiing easier. They also made skis that enable their users to pull bigger and better tricks than the boarders can, so making skiing cooler than boarding. 5 years ago, snow parks would have been almost skier free zones. Now they are dominated by skiers. Add in being able to get around a resort without walking, and not spending half your day sat on your backside just under the lip of a roller....... |

Should have added, all these will be served by overnight sleepers from Paris as well as the TGV.
