We stayed in a small appartment in les carroz which was pretty cheap, it was really basic though and slept upto 6 thus very cramped (there was only 4 of us too). The appartment was booked through snow beds but I may still have the owners number in my email account if you'd like to cut out the middle man?

Les Carroz is on the same ski area (20minute ski from flaine) but is a much more picturesque french village than flaine. Really nice people too!

You're not at trent uni are ya? There all goin out there on the 3rd Jan. I'm serre chevaliering it this year but we get a day in les deux alpes. I'm quite keen to get a non stop run in from 4000m all the way to the bottom!

I hear les deux alpes is pretty good for the apres ski!
Had another little prowl in Nottingham today, (Ladies section)

im72 (corrected for those with keen eyes)were the ones I used in good powder in Canada - Red ones, with liquid metal and the chip?

In Les Carroz last year I used the older im70s - grey without the liquid metal.

I used Tyrolia "TR"(??) 12 bindings with both. Easy to adjust and very good when the ejector switch gets hit! :!:

The newer ones are about 400 but come with a semi twin tip for ripping out some jumps!! )

head monsters are great on and off piste!!

Pricey though.....

Get some off the bay for about 250ish. I used 170s in Fernie and loved em - very fast and responsive, had 163s last year (experimenting) although they were good, they were not as good as 170s.
