The summer Talfest in Niederau this past summer focussed on this. The parades were a great day out.

I've met quite a few families there of mixed abilities and they have never mentioned any problems meeting up, either up the mountain or in the valley. I agree with Dave Mac about the Red School - I can't comment on the Blue School as I've never used them myself.
