Maybe he is on to a looser but they said electricity would never catch on and the Write brothers were on to a looser. How many of you have the knowledge to rule it out completely, after all the ejector seat in a fighter jet deploys in less then a second.

Give the guy a break and answer his questions and let him do his research, it is not a business idea it is a collage project

The only time I ever crashed and had any significant time to realise I was going to crash was a couple of seconds at the most. Most of the time it comes as a surprise, I am trying to avoid someone's mistake or my own, but usually i am tumbling before i realise it

Maybe you should approach some extreme skiers where such a device might be more use. There are people who combine skiing with parachuting

can someone explain what freezing level on the weather maps means

Example: Snow forecast for 1340 meters temp -4C freezing level 1650 (m)

To me it says it is going to freeze above 1650 meters, so how can it be -4 at 1340 meters

Out of interest, what did you pay for your ski carriage?

With Crystals going in March who charge £30, Neilsons in January charged £15.

A pain in the ass is the holiday companies insistence that you pack only skis in your ski bag. With EasyJet, RyanAiir, BA and so on you can pack all your stuff in the ski bag and so have only one piece of luggage to worry about, which is even a greater plus when collecting your luggage at airports where the skis come out in a different place to your cases

Watching the weather forecast for Kirchdorf with increased worry

Its been raining and quite warm past few days yet the snowbase remains the same according to all the reports. is this a miracle 125cm for the upper slopes 60 lower - although it did snow last night.

Recall being in Slovakia a few years ago, there was snow piled 8ft high in places and the snowbase was 75 cms, then the snow turned to rain and it was all gone within 2 days

Low-43cm

Looks ok to me! :D

Thanks, but going to Kirchdorf in March now, I wanted to wait and see what the snow is like but i got out voted :(
