thanks, alastair,
it didn't help that i had had a few sherries, nor that i was on my way to the sunday night ski show and had my ski school jacket on at the time (shuffling out of kufstein hospital the following morning with the jacket and arm in plaster was a tad embarassing!) if you're going to do this sort of thing, then do it in austria: for the past 2 weeks i've waited a total of nearly 6 hours at walsall hospital fracture clinic. the medical attention in austria (albeit insured) was second to none. has anyone had a dislocated elbow? after skiing in niederau for 21 years, i slipped and fell on ice outside the wastlhof hotel. am still in plaster over 3 weeks later and doctor here says i won't have full extensionin my arm, altho' i WILL ski again!
it hurts even within the plaster which is due to come off this week followed by physio. has anyone had to wear an elbow support following the injury? thanks, L. |

skimac,
niederau for the singleton. been going there for 21 years as a single, nearly your age and it's the one place where i can walk in to a bar unchallenged or where people don't think me 'odd' for sitting alone, or for engaging people in conversation. L. |

hi coop,
opt out of the blue deal you have and pay for the reds: I've worked for the reds, teaching the children, and your family will be looked after well. DIN! do as dave mac recommends! L. |
