Fantastic photos there Tony H !!!!!!!

I've heard to this happening before. I sold my car at the end of last year through www.Autotrader.co.uk and I was receiving at least 2 emails a day involving the buyer sending me more than the asking price through 3rd party companies or a cheque. It all seem very dodgy.

Ended up selling the car for more than what i paid for it to a guy that lived up the road.

Happy Days ! :D
Push Bike With Skis

When I was in Austria in March I notice at a few bike frames with skies on them instead of wheels for going downhill in the snow. I've never seem anyone use them before. They were sitting next to the hut/building where you got the chair lift back up the mountain

Anyone experienced going down hill on one? Are they any good?

Snowboarding lessons - bad experience

I'm planning on getting some lessons in the UK at xscape Glasgow before hitting the Alps next year. Cant wait as every year I'm skiing I see more and more boarders on the slopes and I want a piece of the action and of course a new challenge.

snow conditions in Niederau

That run red 19 and red 23 are excellent!! I was loving them in the middle of March when I was there and the slopes weren't that busy either.

I did ski 3 out of the 6 days in Auffach tho. But I love the place all the same.

It gets the thumbs   from me )
No smoking in Austria

I just got back from Austria on saturday there and all my clothes were stinking of smoke! And because you can smoke inside pubs and resturants you smoke more.
Someone in my hotel told me the ban was already in place in Austria but due to the amount of ash trays on tables and people smoking I think he was talking s**t.

To be honest I prefer the ban in Scotland and im a smoker.

Back from Niederau on Saturday night there. Had a great time.

Catch the Gondola up, turn right and drop right, under the Gondola. Lovely run down red 19, Merchenweiss. If the snow conditions are deepish, and you are very experienced, start red 19, then go straight on under the Gondola, run is now called the Stuck, black standard, quite steep and narrow, fairly difficult for good skiers.

Unfortually the black run was closed due to lack of snow but I skied red 19 and red 23 with the wee black 24a in the middle.

But last week a thought the snow in Auffach was slighty better. And only 15 minutes on the free bus I was over there 4 days out of my 6 days skiing.

Skied from the top of the Gondola to the bottom (red 2 and then red 1) in under 11 minutes because I was going to miss the bus

I had a brillent time I would go back but I did ski alot of the runs over and over due to lack of snow :( but not too borthered.

Spent a lot of time O'Malley's and Cave Bar :D
