Snowboard Slovakia - I hope you have a full recover.
On the bright side - you will have a really cool scar. |

I bought a pair of Columbia ski trousers from TK Maxx. Much cheapness.
My mate Ninja Dave bought a pair of gloves from Lidl and they fell apart within 2 days of use. However he also bought socks, a fleece, and thermals and all are still in use two seasons later. |

My partner is going to accompany me on my next ski trip.
As it is her first time I am going to get her some lesson (she is going to try boarding)so she can get the most out of her trip. So I thought I'd book her in to the indoor centre at Braehead. Has anyone used it before? Also is the quality of instruction good there? |

So what should I look for in a decent helmet (I really like the earphones thingy)?

Following on from Pavelski's post and also noticing how many of the posters (myself included) suffer from knee injuries do any of you have tips for exercises and preventative measures to save the old knees?

I was wondering who wears helmets when skiing?
Do you wear them all of the time? Just when going off piste/back country? Never? Dependant on the conditions? Or something else? |

La Plagne has a nice litte cafe/bar at the base of the main slope so you won't need to get off the ground at all.
To be honest you wouldn't be able to watch your husband all of time as a ski resort is a big place and goes way above the tree line. The resort is a good place for beginners but there is plenty of accessable off piste for the more advanced as well. |
