I stayed in La Tambra apartments in Santa Christina which were perfect with a lovely view of the Sasso Lungo.
The apartment has got a great pizzeria below it. Santa Christina is one of my favourite places, great base for the Sella Ronda. |

I have always put 2 sets of skis in my double ski bag when travelling with crystal both sets weigh less than 15kg and never had a problem, 1st time this year i booked with Inghams and did not book skis on, tried to book them on later but ski carriage was full, heard about luggage mule so tried them I got my skis collected in double ski bag (you can take up to 2oKg)from my house straight to hotel and delivered back to my house from luggage mule £89.99, i put my fleeces, thermals etc in bag. would recommend them.

Beautiful area but to get to Murren from Wengen you need to take the little train down to Lauterbrunnen and then get a cable car then on another train to get to Murren wastes alot of time. The gondola back from Grindelwald to Wengen takes forever longest gondola I have ever been on not the best way to finish your day. If you want to clock up the miles you cannot beat the Sella ronda fabulous and the most amazing scenery.

Hi
I booked a holiday on friday and forgot to book my skis on, phoned later that night when in from work and told ski was hold full, i am sure the guy that I did the booking with knew this as I was not asked if I wanted to check my skis on to the flight. I know I could hire skis but my hubby and I just got new skis last year. Anybody got any ideas for cheap transfer to resort and back thanks |
