Went there earlier this month and it was great. The six day lift pass also covers a day in Pila,a day in La Thuile and the use of the Monte Bianco cable car from where you can ski the Vallee Blanche(€80). Free ski buses get you around.
Courmayeur itself is a lovely little town but bear in mind just about everywhere closes around 1 to 4 p.m! Sorry,can't help with your travel problems but,assuming you do get there,I'm sure you'll love it. PM me if you want to know anything specific. Colin. |

As you say No job = no ski. Those of us working could pack it in right now and go skiing (if there was any snow!) for a week. It's surely a means to an end to go for the job now and reap the rewards later - God I sound like my Dad, sorry :shock:

Go for the job. You can always ski another time but the job may be a one timer. Risk maybe a fantastic job for one week's skiing? Come on, one week? :roll:
