Answering your original question, no. A package is probably not the best option. The UK is currently the cheapest country in Europe for ski wear, you just need to know where to look.
As others have said, TK.MAXX is without a doubt your best bet for trousers, tube socks and jackets. I'd use Primark for thermals, and I just picked up a pair of Airwalk gloves rrp-£40 from sports world (formerly 'Sport and Soccer') for £9.99 this afternoon! Sports world are also very good for hats and ruck-sacks... |

It's a shames to see and hear these reports. Myself and my bro have been to Borovets for the last couple of years, and have thoroughly enjoyed it.
Having said that, by the 3rd day last year, some of the lower slops were a bit icy and in need of a good snow fall. But isn't this a risk you take with most destinations? |

I was going to suggest snow and rock as they did a great job on mine. The guy was very knowledgeable and explained all aspects of the boot and how the boot should feel and fit.
I guess it just depends on they sales person you get. Maybe try a different branch. Matt in South Kensington was brilliant!! |

I don't suppose you could fire those PM's my way as well? Myself and my Bro are going the back end of Jan, so it'd be great to get a few tips from those of you who've been before.
I will be skiing, and he snowboards... Cheers |
