I got an email saying - "Anyone up for football this week?"
To which i replied " Nope, got skiing in 3 weeks and not really up for getting injured- seeing as 3 years ago i sprained my ankle the week before skiing by playing 5 a side footy!!" To which i am guessing he would rather have not asked.... :P |

The Dorfstub'n is a good local drinking hole, it opens about 8.30pm and is open until around 4am. If not then the cave bar which is under the hotel Staffler is also good for a beer or 10 and is also open until about 4am. Apres ski is easy to come by and there are a few bars at the bottom of the slopes (Gunters Bar) is probably the most lively of these and is across the road from the gondola station. |

To be honest we skiied in Saas Fee a few years back but i would still rather go back to "N"!! If you don't like "N" then don't go back.....your loss!

Timberland boots are a must!! Normally wera a pair to travel and a pair or trainers for round the hotel....

Normally go over to Auffach for about 2 days of the week, which is also a good day of skiing and depending on the lines you ski, finding smallish jumps and moguls makes every run different.
Just got a new set of snowblades so i will be seeing what these are like as they are 120cm long instead of 99cm.... should be a bit quicker |

sounds good to me, don't think i will be doing top to bottom in 2 mins 40 secs but think we could meet up one day for a bit of skiing, if not could meet up in a bar one night for some apres-ski....?
