If she permanently lives there and therefore is registered with her "main residence" (hauptwohnsitz), then of course no problem. Obviously then she also pays all her taxes in Austria etc on income.
I am registered for my main residence in Germany. They tightened the rules this year. Such is life :-) I need to study the two cards really. |

I would be very surprised. They tightened up the rules THIS year with regards to documentation for a Tirol ski pass. Was easier last year.
Do you think an Allstar pass is better? I want "N" and nearby, Skiwelt etc but beyond that I am open minded really. |

and you don't even get a discount if you have a house there!!! Only if you are a permanent resident.

I am in Niederau for New Year as well if anyone wants to meet for a beer! Actually I am there from the 25th.

The big issue on the runs home is the crowds, not the difficulty as such. Gets packed with various levels of skiers so it becomes a special "challenge". I always ski home, but in Ischgl the half-way Gondola will make sense to your friend. Also doesn't take much before those runs get dug out icy patches...just from the volume of skiers.

Thanks for the replies, especially Dave with plumber details.
Obviously I have seen Niederau and the house!! Even had a beer there, just never skied the actual resort...but not important to me as such. As I will always have a car then I have easy options. Just boarding in Chamonix this week :D p.s. Grafenweg end. I am betting Dave knows the previous owner. |

I'm a little worried about what I need to do as "initiation" to the N-Mafia but hopefully it does not involve drinking the local Schnapps.
