I've skied Courmeyer, Cervinia and Cortina in Italy and would recommend all of them.
I am going to have to try a resort that doesn't begin with the letter 'C' sometime! |

I'm 5'3" and found a pair of snowboard pants that were supposed to be worn low slung with the waist hanging off your butt and the crutch halfway down to your knees. I found that by wearing them on the waist instead (they had adjustable tabs) they ended up the right length. The brand was Orage but I suspect it would work with most Snowboard brands:oops:

I can't really top this but I did see a snowboarder on the weekend who had shiny gold buckles on her bindings and earrings to match!
You may also find it amusing to know that 'fanny' means something very different in Australia than in North America. (Only females have one.) |

Of course she can! (Although I may be a little biased) If you let me enter I promise to share my story about how I started the day with two skis and two stocks and finished with no skis and one stock - and no it doesn't involve powder. I can't wait to get my tuque and show it off to my friends - do you think it would be stretching the truth to say I won it in a ski competition? |

Photo was taken at Perisher Valley which is the closest ski area to Sydney (a mere 6 hours drive!) and also the biggest ski area in Australia. I have skied at Falls Creek, however, and agree it is a really nice hill - very popular with people who live in Melbourne.
Just in case your not jealous enough, I'm off skiing again this coming weekend - although that will probably be it for the season as good snow is usually hard to come by beyond August in Australia. |

Working is a technique that some people need to employ from time to time to be able to go skiing. However, like snowploughing, if you can ski without doing it you should avoid it!

Wow! This is a dubious honor indeed. I'm not sure if I'll be bragging to too many people about it. I've been doing my best to reform although I can't seem to keep away from the bright colours! Following shot was taken last week.
