Yes I saw it. I loved the start, and the whole run to be honest. Makes a change really, as they normally make the women's downhill a little too 'safe' for my liking.

Spoke to somebody today and they said the 4 berths are really small for 4 adults, 2 beds and two 'sofas'. They reckon the 6 berth is better for 4 adults.

When a ski pass in resort is 160 Euros, how can accomodation and ski pass be 87 Euros?

I would delve back through the forum archives if I were you, as Morzine is an area that seems to split opinions. You would be able to see both arguments and make your own mind up.

I have friends who gambled in the summer and are off to Reutte next week. Doesn't look too clever at the moment. Anyone have any good/bad news about conditions I can pass on?

Last year we drove up from Barcelona to Soldeu. The day before, and two days afterwards, there was no access from France to Soldeu. That may confirm the 'less willing' tag, although having approached from France previously, the road is noticably steeper in places and would probably be more hazardous in poor conditions.
