Thanks for the replies guys, it was all a bit tongue in cheek as weather is, well, weather and is what it is.
Back to my post though does anyone know of a decent long range forecast site or are they all similar in your opinion? I tend to google it and go with it, most of them are members only for+7 days. N |

Hey Guys,
So, counting down the days now - 19 (Thanks Ally!) As per usual I'm commencing my pre-ski panic about weather and snow, it's nothing new I do it every year regardless of month/snow/resort - it adds to the anticipation, sort of! Anyway, does anyone know of a decent long range forecast site - I'm fully aware of the accuracy of these things as even the 7 day forecast changes but it would nice to get an idea of the general trending weather. I'm off to Les Gets, it's low but great at the moment. One site I checked last night showed 11 degrees in 10-14 days time though which started me off....I suspect an anomaly and highly unlikely but all the same it's given me the heebygeeebies.... Anyway, any hints for a Long Range site appreciated. Nige |

Hi All,
We're off to Les Gets on the 15th March. One of our group is looking for beginner lessons for half the week - they're only with us for a few days. They have tried all of the ski schools and nobody has a group lesson for 16/17/18th March - I suspect that this may be because most are 6 day courses. So: 1. Any suggestions at all (i.e. any message boards we could try to find buddies for private lessons to share) 2. The cost of a full week isn't prohibitive compared to a private lesson so should she just go to three lessons and bin the rest. My worry is that she may not progress much if only completing half the lessons? She's hesitant to book privately due to the cost. The rest of the group are strong intermediates minimum. Thanks Nige |

Yeah, my Wife has ridiculously high arches and had to have her Nordica bent, shaped, moulded to fit - did an amazing job and two years later no tears....unlike the last pair! |

Hey, thanks for the tip. Sure there will be a few tweaks the first week. |
