Stuck in Les Arcs

Ha ha I had never been on the buses in resorts before. It was the only way to the lower slopes resorts.
After queuing for an hour and letting 2 buses go away full I realised the only was was to push though...

Nice place. But I would never stay in 2000 or 1950 again.

Hey guys.

Just on my way home from a week of eventful skiing.

I have never seen so much snow! Had 1 good day skiing last Monday. The rest had many pistes closed and lifts closed. Wednesday was a no go.

We stayed in Arc 2000 and had to get the bus most days over to 1600... Remind me never to get them buses again. It was a free for all, people fighting to get on the buses! (Maybe this is normal?)

I am currently sitting in Lyon airport waiting to get home. Yesterday's transfer was a no go with the roads closed until late afternoon. Missing our flight from Grenoble we were put up in a airport hotel last night. And a 5 hour wait in the airport for our afternoon flight.

All in all its been a good week and I think if the weather calms down in Les Arcs there is enough snow for the rest of the season.

Check out my video on YouTube. It's a quick video I made when I was bored yesterday.
I'll add a ski video once I'm home.

Still haven't booked yet. I have been looking at chalet company's and come across www.snowchateaux.com

Seems they drop prices week before so probably book Monday for the weekend if anyone recommends La Plagne

Old school topic. 12/13 sleeps. Just still need to book up :)
Anyone been too Passo Tonale Italy?

Grand Paradiso is the hotel I have been looking at booking up. Hotel seems quite nice for the price. Just don't like the idea of wearing a swimming cap in the pool...
And Matt it sounds like your daughter will be skiing in no time.

I am still deciding to book now or to hold out and see what else comes up in the next week or so.
What I have seen does look nice place though.

I checked out the little town in Austria above that was mentioned by think it's all coming in above my budget.

Mrs turned 30 last month so took her Iceland... I think it's the most expensive place I have been too!

Judoo. I'll try to get a new go pro before I go. Glad you like the videos. I have been doing a few random vlogs lately on my channel so want try and do a ski video one.
I use Windows live movie maker for the vids but it's really basic and limiting. I am thinking in investing in a MacBook Pro soon and trying out a more professional program. (My PC is getting to old to run any program half decent)

Cheers for advise. I have been La Ros the last couple of times with Ski Olympic but they have bumped their prices up now so thought it look somewhere else.

I smashed my Go Pro up in Iceland last month so that will be another added cost to the holiday :(
