Hi All,
Im off to sauze d'oulx, italy on jan 7th and im getting worried that the snow conditions wont be great. whats everyones thoughts on the current weather in Europe? Looking at the forecasts there isnt much happening again this week. I dont normally go skiing this early on so im not sure what the snow is like at that time of year. with only a month to go am worrying over nothing?!? |

I think that very skier/snowboarder should be forced to wear helmets. I had a really bad fall skiing last year and if it wasnt for my helmet i could have been in a lot of trouble!
After buying a helmet a few years ago i will never go skiing without it again. |

hi
Ive just booked to go to Sauze on jan 7th aswell. I went there last year when the olympics where on and we had a great time. even though most of the milky way was closed there was still enough skiing to keep your average skiier happy. The resort itself is quite lively at night but me and my friend also found it very friendly. I would definately recommend this resort and i am really looking forward to exploring the whole area properly this time! just counting the days now! beginners should have a great time as there are plenty of easy slopes and a lot of them are tree lined and really picturesque. |

i have just booked to go to Sauze D'oulx in Italy in january. theres plenty of good skiing and i also found it to be a very friendly resort when i went there last year. Its only costing me £269 for a 3* half board hotel so i doubt you'll find much cheaper than that!

I would definately go for spyder gear. Not only does it look cool but it pays for itself after a while. very hard wearing and very warm
