Hi,
Just back from Les Arcs, bought a Paradiski pass and spent quite a bit of time in La Plagne. Skiing there is extensive and great, you don't need to go to Les Arcs, but if like me you're nosey and want to see new pistes I would buy the pass that gives you one day in Les Arcs. I've been to the area many times and have still to ski all of the slopes..... |

Hi,
Just got back from Les Arcs (next to La Plagne). As stated earlier you'll rarely need snow chains but if you do you won't get in/ out of many resorts. I had to use chains last weekend and last January, also in Ellmau, Austria a few years ago. My advice is to park in covered parking where possible as easier to put on chains.... |

Hi,
I went a few seasons ago and loved it apart from a few flat bits. There are really sweet log cabin restaurants in the mountains including one full of eerie witches...great weissbier at lunchtime. |

Does this cover French ski resorts?

Wow, sounds like we're all in that lottery this Friday. I think that buying a few choice apartments around the world to chase the sun and snow would do me fine. I am a man of simple tastes.

"La Loupe" means "The Wolf" in French so it could be that.....
