If I EVER so much as took my eyes off the 9 or 10 children in the children's groups i've taught in Niederau, (red ski school), Sepp Schellhorn would rightly send me packing, and I would never work there again.
As a teacher in the UK, perhaps I have a keener sense of child protection than others, but everyone one in Niederau looks after the children. Even the instructors from the 'other' ski school would scoop up a child and take him /her back to hotel/ski school/ another instructor if they found one, 'lost'.
dustyfrog is right: to lose anyone in a group is gross negligence. L.

As a good Catholic girl, I recommend a prayer to St Anthony when you lose your passport or anything important. you'll probably start your sentence something like this when you realise you can't find the bloody thing: ''Oh my GOD...'' or something more colourful.

teaching children's groups in niederau, i used to get LOTS of boxes of chocolates from happy parents!
but yes, if you are happy, with the instruction, the odd fiver is welcomed!

and yes, blod has led from the start with next year's visits. in fact, she has more or less presented me with a 'fait accompli' on both occasions and simply told me she's booked the flights and please can she have the money!
but i'm cool about that as i seem to have introduced someone to their own love affair with Niederau, which is kind of nice, isn't it?!!!
blod'd sister and brother in law have also visted but now have a small baby, but will hopfully visit again when baby is a little older.
blodyn secured pretty spectacular flight deals with Lufthansa: £95 return pp, for new year and then for february half term 2010.
i have your little pictures which am trying to work out where in my flat to display. thank you!

had an email from sepp schellhorn recently saying that they are now looking forward to spring. i'll work in the ski school over feb half term probably.
my mother is still with us so cannot consider anything ref her property. i didn't take a last pic of the Vicky when i was there and i so regret that now, because unless i visit for a few days in the summer, by new year, the vicky will be no more.
BTW, where is the link to Ellistine's wife's paragliding video?

hi dave mac and all,
i've been off work for a week and have tried to find a last minute flight to enjoy these stupendous conditions, but alas, a flight for £450-plus to munich is not within the realms of reasonablesness!
so it's a drool over these fab pics sent by all N fans until blodwyn and i head for N at new year, and at februalry half term 2010.
