In the evening, go to the Bichlwirt.......

Take it Bichlwirt is a good bar to try? I read somewhere there are a couple of good bars at the down of the gondola somewhere but will def give them all a try :)

Hi all,
Im heading for AUSTRIA in March and cant wait :D :D Im staying in Niederau at the Hotel Hannes. Any1 stayed there before? any first hand reviews?
Was wondering where the best place would be to ski for my brother and I, which have skied for years now and can get down the slopes no probs.
We have/are getting (throught travel agent) a lift pass for the Wildschönau area.

I recently bought a pair of snowblades over the xmas period and cant wait to get them onto some powder snow. :D instead of the usal ice we have in Scotland here lol.

Thanks Swal
Where's the best skiing in Scotland?

Hello,
I ski every weekend in Scotland if the snow is good enough and worth at 5am start! I always leave very early so I get to the slopes for half 8 (latest). As the car park can fill up very quicky and I'm not really a big fan of walking the length of the car park to get back to my car for a spot of lunch.
I would say I prefer Glenshee the most out the Scottish resorts as It's only about an hr drive from Perth and motorways all the way from Glasgow or Edinburgh. And it is the biggest resort. Glas Maol is quality on a good day.

If you are going to try skiing in Scotland make sure you check the reports the night before.

As they can give you a fair idea of the conditions for the next day and what lifts r expected to open.

Staying that I am booked up for a week in Austria in March and cant wait :)

Hello all,
Im new to this site and forums in general. Im off to Niederau on the 15th March this year. First time aboard skiing in years to be honest. Im fed up with all the icy up north in Scotland. Im staying at the Hotel Hannes any reviews from people that have been there?
