i was in santa christina (Val gardena) last year booked my accomodation through www.valgardena.it - put your dates in and it is sent to all hotels, appartments in the resort and all available accomodation will get back to you i had plenty of choice - you can also get a terravision bus from bergamo airport to ortisei, santa christina or selva it stops in the 3 resorts.
This year was in alba di canzei and booked through fassa.com and again plenty of choice for accomodation, would recommend either of these areas the scenery is stunning the sella ronda is a great way to see arraba, covara etc. |

i booked chamonix - brides was 613 which was still really good

The reason for the very different choices was down to the offers, took the deal to chamonix £563 for family of 4 - can not believe the price (no flight supplement from Glasgow or under occupancy supplement) with crystal, checked it out today is now £1450, have never been to france skiing do not fancy it, but at that price had to give it a go - Usually go to Italy or Switzerland.

where is better for 2 children ages 9 and 12, i have heard chamonix is not the best for children and how is the weather last week in feb, heard they do not get alot of sun that time of year!

chamonix or brides les bains 20 feb for 1 week with 2 children 9 and 12 heard chamonix does not get the sun much in feb and not so good for children thanks

what other resorts were advertised and when is this for as i would be very interested in free ski passes with a family of 5 the ski passes add up

if you are not to fussy on where to go, terravision web site has coaches from
bergamo, verona and venice airport to various italian resorts val gardena, alta badia etc that run fri, sat sun and are very reasonable, I think they also have coaches from vienna? not to clued up on austria,but have used the terravision and it is superb and reliable. |
