Take up MONOSKIING.
The lateral pressures are shared by both legs as they are always together. Rob |

Just over the mountain from Saas Fee is the quiet and beautiful small italian resort of Macugnaga (pronounced MACKun YAGa).
Here's a link. http://www.monterosaholidays.net/ Nearest Rail station is 'Domodossola' then get the local bus from opposite the train staion up to Staffa (it's 1 hour of 'italian job'hair pin bends). Nearest A/Ports are Milan Malpensa & Bergamo. Rob |

Get them done in the resort as it's often cheaper and quicker than in the UK.

Nightmare if someone takes a split pair away at the end of the skiing day by mistake as they did from outside a 'bottom of the piste' restuarant in La Daille. 2 skiers(minus their owned complete matching pairs) were then somewhat out of sorts and couldn't ski again untill the culprit returned them shame faced the next day to find his rented pair.
I think a wire ski lock is a better option to prevent such a mistake. Better still is also to keep them in sight. Rob btw, I am a Monoskier and i feel fairly confident that no one is going to nick mine and i'm happy with that. |

It would be good if the ski companys tuned into the single skier gap in the market instead of fleecing us with punitive supplements.
How popular would a multi single room building be i wonder? Rob |

Thanks Trencher.
I am tempted to Take a learn to Snowboard course and add another string to my snow sliding 'bow'. As my other half is a nervous blue run standard skier it might even us up when we are on the hill together. I may well never master any of the disciplines but i intend to have fun doing all of them. Here's a link to a company (Ridgecrest.CA)that is bringing out a deep V snowboard that may interest you. http://www.codaboards.com/development.html Rob |
