I'm looking for an easy resort to take a 3-day ski trip to. I'm living in Rome, and would like somewhere with good public transport links. I don't have a lot of cash, and nightlife isn't a priority. I'm an intermediate skier.
Is Albetone a good option, or will I be disappointed if I don't head further north? What area of the Alps has the best transit links with central Italy? Thanks in advance! |

PS - jeans and jumpers for sure, and you'll want shoes or walking boots with good traction as the streets aren't cleared of snow and ice.

I was in Borovets for a week in mid-March last year, and it was sunny and warm enough during the day that I didn't need a jacket until late afternoon. The snow got quite slushy toward the end of the week, but the first few days of skiing were great! Take the gondola up to the very top, that's definitely where the best snow is.
