the snow conditions in Bansko,Bulgaria are good, only 2 of the slopes are closed the others 17 are open.

regarding the queue on the gondola you are right, but I would like to assure you that it's happening only on celebrations like Christmas, New Year etc. when a lot of people gathering together on one place, the rest of the time there aren't any queues.

Don't forget that Bansko is one of the places where you could have a nice ski holiday at reasonable prices, and use quite modern ski facilities at the same time.
Lots of people are satisfied,and come back again,and again.

Here in Bansko, Bulgaria the snow cover is stable, that is because of the low temperatures last days, and that is good for the snow cannons to bank up a lot of snow as well.
You could see 10 m high heaps of snow stored near to the pistes.

Everybody talk from his point of view, but the truth is somewhere in the middle. Bansko is one of the newest and
the cheapest ski resorts in Europe, everyone want to pay less and get more from his holiday, so that is what Bansko could offer you, everything else depend on you (your temper, behavior and willing to have a good time)
A lot of people know it, but it's hard to confess, the easiest way is to find something smaller and make it bigger.

This year we started the ski season with plenty of snow, the average snow cover is 160 cm. All the pistes are open and the lifts are working. Here you could find some photos to get better idea how the ski conditions are :
