Ok, these tyres & chains are still up for grabs, after a 'buyer' :x dropped out.
A reasonable offer will get them! |

Hi. It will depend on the weather on the day, and your timing. The C17 is fine until Ripoll unless there is fog (Vic has the reputation for having the most foggy days in Spain), then you face some fairly twisty valley roads for the remainder of the drive. If there is snow or fog, this can be very slow. Going down the alternate to the C16 and then driving north from Barcelona will take you to the Tunnel de Cadi and an additional steep 10+ euro toll each way. You then have slower valley roads after the tunnel to drive as well. I would take the C17 myself and avoid most of the Barcelona weekend traffic heading north to Andorra, unless snow or fog was forcast.

Not your usual ski gear I know... but I have got a set of 4 Nokian WR 205/55/R16 94V for sale.
They were used for one winter season on my VW Touran and have done about 8000 KM, are made in Finland and winter rated M+S. (Check out http://www.nokiantires.com/tyre?id=11884&group=1.01&name=Nokian+WR for more details). Two tyres show 8 mm tread depth and two show 6+ mm on the winter wear indication system. If you rotate them you should get two more winters' use out of them. They may fit your car if you are planning a trip to the mountains soon, and are essential if driving in Germany & Austria in winter weather conditions. I'm based in Spain (near Barcelona) so ideally would want to sell close to home, but I can discuss delivery charges and methods if you are interested. I'm including a unused set of snow chains for the same size tyre for free. The price is EUR200. They cost me EUR620 when I had them fitted. I changed my car this summer, and these tyres do not suit any more. Let me know? Thanks, Dave :D |
