Would you have a link to the skiing there, doesn't strike me as quite high enuf
Foppolo sking is OK, Foppolo itself not that scenic.
Carona has more charm about it, ski wise and village, there are two hotels amd three bars. Very friendly place. San Simone one hotel , i'd imagine it's dead at night there, as nearly all people drive and leave at end of day, howver the lifts and snow (shady)there are excellent. If you are hiring a car, there are two towns approx 10k away, Piazza Brembana and Branzi which might be more lively. plenty of hotels there

At the weekends the nightlife picks up

One thing we like about Carona is virtually no lift Q's. Foppolo has a lot of school trips there so not ideal

if you do decide to stay at Carona, there is a chair you take up every morning, the ski hire shop has lockers (at top of chair lift) , which can be rented very cheaply

If you don't hire a car, base yourself in Foppolo (bus to Simone) lift/ski to Carona from there.

Buy your ski-pass from hotel, cheapest way to do it

60 k from bergamo, you have three small resorts all covered by one pass, Carona linked to Foppolo by lift, San Simone is on the same pass, but linked by bus or (your hire car). Each one has approx of 30k of sking, so they are small. Have stayed in carona last few years and like it, HB hotel is 60 euro, Carona has some limited nightlife. Foppolo is in the middle of the three, so slighly easier to get to the other two from there, but Carona is a nicer place

It's not abad idea to split our skis with a mate, while you have lunch etc, a thief is less likely to nick a mixed pair of skis
