I hear what you say but this update is VERY significant.
Apple upgrade their lines roughly every 6-9 months with processor updates but every 3 years or so they do a major revamp. Which happened yesterday.
The Macbook felthorpe is brilliant but the new one is a whole new breed, e.g: the removal of optical drive and hard drive.
