Perhaps with the timescale you are working to the best bet is to have them mounted in Serre Che - bound to be somewhere capable of doing it and probably at the right price too.

I have now taken them into the local dry slope and they have confirmed they can fit Tyrolia...I should think so too, as I bought Mrs H's Head skis there, and they fitted Tyrolia bindings to them!

2 Seasons said there was a difference between Tyrolia bindings and Tyrolia Rental Bindings....something to do with not having a jig for them? I dont understand, but they were most apologetic and quite embarrassed.

I considered the Serre Che option and then rejected it, as I dont want to take a pair of skis and bindings which MAY not be useable whilst there, plus I dont want to waste time trapsing about looking for someone to do the work.
We'll see what Tallington ProShop come up with.

Well the saga has finally been brought to an end. I dropped them off at the proshop only to find that the technician didnt start work until midday Monday, and I needed to be leaving that morning for Scotland. I didnt want to leave them, and come back to find they couldnt do them after all (which it transpires they wouldnt have been able to anyway) so I went and collected them and took them with me to Scotland. I went into Ellis Brigham and they said they could do them in an hour. When I came back the guy was really apologetic and said they didnt have the right jig. Here we go again!
I phoned Milton Keynes on his recommendation, and they said no problem, so I drove back from Scotland via MK and they fitted them in 20 minutes, and the assistant refused to accept payment as I had driven down from Scotland to get them done.

Thank you Ellis Brigham MK.

I now will be skiing on the new skis next week. 8)

Although it could be said that travelling from Peterborough to Milton Keynes via Scotland is a tad unusual.
