If you go to Italy they have the "piste Police" in skidoos with a blue light on ,,http://www.dailymail.co.uk/travel/article-593301/Piste-police-breathalyse-skiers.html

Good idea; risking your own neck by being inebriated is one thing; putting others in danger is not acceptable. (I don't know why this message is timed at 07.43, because I am posting it at 08.43 :) It's a reply to Daved's, above)

Pamporovo, is an excellent resort, it is well run and relatively quiet, although there are plenty of places on the slopes to get food and drink, I haven't come across too much drunkeness, but it is the few that cause the problems as always. Safety is always a top priority, and for the most part succeeds as they keep the snow boarders away from the skiers.

I will look forward to the ridding of slopes of drunks ......Can't see them doing it in France as they still sell alcohol on their motorway services ..... -)
