Forgive my ignorance of what England receives in the way of snow ... but from what you describe here and my poor understanding, it sounds like it is almost a major snow fall you're getting right now. I expect we, in Canada, will see this on our late night news - when England get's snow - we usually do see it!!

IceGhost .. are you anywhere near Columbus and Clear Forks ??

:D hi ,yes snow is quite a major thing in England if we get more than about 1/2 inch the country grinds to a halt, not sure how the government and public would cope with amajor snowfall (alpine standards) mind you our road and rail networks are useless anyway so would not really affect those, mind you us skiers would be ok. :D

We're a sad lot over here, getting all excited about some sleet.
It's only a slope.
