I had physio, insoles nothing fixed it apart from the magic injection. My feet are pretty knackered, I have fallen arches, hammer toe, raised top arch -- consequently the great boot fitters at Rivington Alpine (little plug adders...) spent a long time customising my insole (standard stuff), but also stretching and shaving of various parts of my boots.

If you have your own boots I would certainly recommend going to a professional boot fitter (not snow & rock!), it will be time very well spent. Graham & the team at Rivington Alpine have fitted world class skiers and also while I was there one day some bloke who had a fused ankle and couldn't bend it therefore getting into a ski boot was near on impossible. Graham, sorted it!

Mine took around 10-12 months to heal .
I played badminton twice a week and golf so used one of these

I think the strap helped more than anything but normally used the strap and sock together.

I forgot to wear the support the first day and didn't the rest of the trip as the skiing didn't affect it at all.I wear standard ski boots that aren't moulded or have special foot beds.
From what i read and my own personal experience you shouldn't have a problem
