How about the doing the Tarentaise tour! Its a 70km non stop tour taking in 5 ski areas all on one pass. But you guys should really think about booking a guide, the link below tells more

Chamonix or La Grave would be a better destination for your group. Chamonix will also offer some piste skiing if you get tired of backcountry and want an easy day, and town is very nice.

As VSB states Chamonix offers an almost unique blend of both lift accessed off-piste and touring options. Maybe I am wrong but where else in the world offers:
Brevant: Hotel faces
Grand Montets: Top Bin
Flegere: Aguille Rouge tours and ski down to Le Buet
Le Tour: Down to Trient
Aguille Midi: VB many options, plus opportunity to skin up to Italian slide
Courmayeur: Helbronner
Get that lot done in a week and can probably retire from skiing.
As few people have hinted a guide would be useful a simple example being you don't see anyone on Blackcomb glacier wearing a harness which you really need for a lot of European offpiste. There are some great value guided courses in Chamonix to suit all levels of ability including some serious skiing. If you do pick Chamonix feel free to PM as will be there the week before.
