However, should you have planned to ski the Sarenne......

La Sarenne is at ADH (neighbouring resort), isn't it? Are they on strike there too?

What I am struggling with is that Dave Mac was allegedly in ADH from 7th February but now seems confused about resort names and where a particularly well known ski run actually is!
Puzzling.........

Young Andy, I have reached the age where confusion is the norm. Except when I am skiing.

However, it is a neighbouring area, so maybe I will get away with it....

Tony was being mischievous when he said "France" but the French do have a cultural leaning towards the power of the workers / underclass (you may have heard of a bit of their history on the 14th July....)

Slightly tongue in cheek, yes, but I have to add that the French do indeed get off their backsides and do something about things they arent happy with (unlike us Brits who go to the pub and moan about it).

They're also much better at coming up with an excuse to not open a lift, open it late, close it early, or not run it at all. The slightest breath of wind - resort shuts down.

By the way, a mate of mine was in L2A last week visiting his daughter who is doing a season with Mark Warner out there....he reliably informs me there was NO lift operator strike, or at least nothing he found that affected operations.
