Bad Gastein

The thing I dislike about Bad Gastein (apart from the fact that much of the big old buildings in the town are derelict), is that they dont groom the pistes during the day. By mid afternoon they get well rutted up, and by the last run down to the resort late afternoon, moguls are compulsory all the way down.

Nice ski area
As others say town is pretty but nightlife is a little odd, probably due to large number of hotels.
Few English folks lots of Scandinavians usually young & come out late to party.
