We saw so many people stopped in dangerous positions trying to put snow chains on (we were returning from Vars). All I can say is thank goodness for winter tyres - worth their weight in gold!

I heard of an 11 hour journey from Bourg to Val D that normally takes 30 minutes. Crazy.
My friend is in Les Arcs at the moment and there's nothing left in the shops, no cash in the cashpoints. Big knock on effect.
