Yes, I know, but why would you bother with 2 1/2 to 3 hours in the train (and waiting in the cold when you change trains) when you can get to so many other places nearer Zuerich?

I would'nt, you clearly would'nt either, but I believe the OP should be given accurate information about travel choices. Only then can they make an informed choice.
