Panic not Mahound.
Keep positive, keep fit and keep going.
The kids always progress rapidly but there are a wealth of ways that the savvy parent can keep them in check!
For example my 19yo Lout crashes down the slopes without a care in the world.
So I don't tell him where we are going so he has to follow me.
I am a better skier than him and a few "oh my god" moments at the top of something challenging slows him down.
Obviously I have better skis
And I am careful with any tips I offer - got to keep him in his place as long as possible.
