My name is Tony, I too am an addict.
I've just got back from Manchester Airport, 7 hours after leaving and the first thing I did was log on to J2ski. My wife tells me its sad. She is also an addict but won't admit to it. I have tried to get her to admit to the addiction but she is one of those who just takes everything in her stride and tries not to get all emotive.
My addiction is only fuelled by each and every ski trip, as the experience seems to get better and better, and coming back from a busy week away makes me feel miserable, depressed and quite down on myself.
Luckily I have less than 3 weeks until I can release some pent up frustration on the slopes of St Anton. But this will only succeed in furthering my addiction and I know I will spend the rest of March at least posting on here, discussing skiing with all and sundry, gaxing lovingly at photographs, la la la.....
I can't help myself. I try to stop thinking about it but its impossible. When I go to bed I close my eyes and send myself to sleep with pictures in my head of snow covered pistes and imagine myself hurtling down one of them.
I've even collected stickers from ski resorts and put them on my trailer which I take to the airports when I have large groups to carry.
I feel there is no end in sight. Fortunately.
Can anyone help me?
