Is that the itinerary down to Tortin - under the gondola? The traverse is evil!

Yep, this is it. The traverse is times more evil if you want to cross over to the other side - this is where people die on Mont-Gele. I don't care how good powder might be there, just don't want to put myself through the ordeal of getting there...

The description of this accident doesn't seem to be very accurate. One article mentions "ducking the ropes" and going off-piste. Mont-Gele IS off-piste, there is only a cable car that takes skiers there no ropes that you can duck.
