Need help with a school project...ski resorts

a few things I look for are
- Km of pistes
- transfer time
- Altitude
- ski in/ski out or distance from hotel to slopes
- weather it has a snowpark and good off piste

1. Altitude never a problem, if it was nobody would ever go to Austria.

2. Km of pistes minimum 80-100, don't realy need more than that for a week.

3. Transfer time is an issue.....which peps that book with a TO are about to find out on there way to Livigno.

4. Ski in ski out is a nice option, this year I have opted for 100 mts from the main lift.

5. Not bothered about Apres it is all about the skiing.

6. Nice village is a must for me, I don't do purpose built, just too dam ugly.

Now what was the question :roll:

I would usually go in the preference of...

1. Height of resort/ snow record
2. Size of resort/area (linked)
3. Ski in/out
4. Distance/time of transfer
5. Cost of holiday
6. What's available on an evening, ie après ski

I'm glad someone hit a specific number on this issue. Personally I dont look at anywhere (unless lift linked to another resort or area) under 150km as it can seem like you're skiing the same runs all the time otherwise. IMO
