I'd hazard a guess he's a fantastic skier, and probably goes off peaks like that regularly, but got this one a little bit wrong.
But how he pulled it round, and even managed to get on his skis half way down.....brilliant.
Idiot? No. But he got a stroke of luck if you ask me. Extreme skiing at its best/worst!

Sorry crispyapplepie, but the camera was attached to his helmet. He was filming over the edge with it before skiing and, if you notice, he put it back on just before stepping into his skis.
Hey Tony, would a camera stay on your bobble during a descent like that? :lol:
And as Tony stated, he was pretty good to get himself back round and onto his skis during the drop, he even seemed to have the front to be annoyed with himself when he stopped :shock:
