I think I saw pavelski damaging his knees in there somewhere.
The guy was right, things haven't changed much over the years, half the trick jumps still don't show the landings

Pav seems far too sensible for tricks like that

Well spotted, Pablo. That was me in the second b&w clip, just before Hannes Scheider! Gosh, it certainly brings back memories. Then you could go into a ski shop with a £5 note, and come out with ski jacket, racing trousers, pair of boots and two pairs of skis. You can't do that now. Too many CCTV cameras about.
Great shot at 2m 50s of the guy in the deep. The most striking thing for me is all these guys bouncing down in the deep on 210 skinnies.
Faaantastic!

took me back ...I remember taking a HB week in westendorf in a single room in the early 70s for £26...most of the clips where from the late 60s early 70s ...not a cable binding in sight ...all nevada n17s or ess 3s...bet they would not have done that without

So True. I wish I could take this vid and post it at work on one of our TV's. There are alot of knuckle draggers out there that have no respect for what came first. All I have to say is Ullr.
Uh oh, I think I broke'd the lift

In my first season, 71, I fixed Ess 3 bindings on to my 215 Kneissl White Star. The skis were as stiff as, I don't know how any of us managed to make any turns at all ~ the length was a macho thing.
The bindings were lethal, a very high COF!
