Scared myself a couple of times

Skied everything but ER5 which has never been open (lower ER5 is just kinda meadow skipping terrain and not totally worth a mention) and Big 7 for no other reason that I didn't really know it was there between a load of the other Wall runs and ER6.

Whitehorn...

Snowbandit - I look forward to seeing your face like  when we hit the top of Pic Blanc!

There is a lot of mellow terrain to be had, I just picked the most difficult ;)

look at the mogul field in the bottom right of the pic in that link!!

LOTA wrote:The Sarenne has two steep pitches, but not that narrow to begin with, that are tricky.

However, it peters out into one of the blandest, flattest tracks in the Alps. Its reputation is greater than its sum parts, but it is redeemed by spectacular scenery and total relaxation as you pole along!

Even if the whole run was the same gradient at the two steep bits, it still wouldn't come in the top 10 toughest runs. The run could easily be reclassified as red.

It's one of my favourite runs, but it's not because it presents a challenge.

I should work for tourism Canada. Everyone should go once before they decide that they never want to ski in Europe again

I would wholeheartedly agree with you there, the only spanner in the works is the dang cost of getting there :(

We had intended doing a 10 day trip to Whistler just after the Olympics, but the prices have made us stick to Europe for all our trips this season.

Think you just need to luck out with a deal, Whistler is a load more expensive than a lot of the Rockies.

The entrance looks a little sketch but the view straight down the face makes it look pretty reasonable to me!
