The title says it all. I booked flights to Cuneo for April for myself and my family and now I'm wondering where on earth I can ski.
Need good snow, we can all ski black runs, and would prefer somewhere cheap. Not fussy about accommodation, will be happy with hostels or B&B.
Any suggestions, or should I just write off what I've paid for the tickets?

Eileen,
Just looked on the Ryanair site and got this
Cuneo (Alps) ski resorts :Limone Piemonte, Garessio 2000, Vars Risoul, Sestriere, Artesina, Prato Nevoso, Frabosa.[b]
Sestriere is probably your best bet. When in April are you going? After the 11th they may well all be shut?

Have skied in Limone which is Ok, for a few days. But not so good for a beginner.
ViaLattea (Milky Way) up near Turin is awesome. Sestriere is a bit more epxensive but there is also Montgenevre, Claviere, Sauze D'Oulx which is a great skiing area and the snow at the momnet is AWESOME!!
