Risoul and Les Sybelles

Been looking at both of these as possible destinations for next season, and keen to hear from anyone who has experience of both or either.
From what I can see, both have good ski areas for what I look for, ie decent mileage, and are reportedly less expensive and good value.
Anyone got some experiences to share?

My first skiing holiday ever was at Risoul aged 3. All I remember is skiing past the group and the instructor and the instructor making me hike back up to them. B*stard. Nothing more to add!
