Had a morning skiing in shorts once just to prove that we could

VERY gentle slopes and no falls

Oh and no drag lifts (to keep on topic)

They had T bars in Rauris last yr. Wouldn't let my kids go on em.

Have never minded drag lifts until this yr in bardonecchia. They had a few which went on for AGES and were very precarious and there was always the worry, "What if one of the kids fell off, and if so, how would we find our way onto the piste?" as they were in the middle of nowhere after half a minute! Shame as one was a very scenis gorgeous blue run, and another a black run the kids wanted to go on lots but we couldn't risk that awful lift on their own
Also, over at Jefferau, my hubby stopped top of the piste with my jacket, camera and videa bag and his backpack, ready to film me when I got off the lift. I skied down, and as I got down, the lift broke. he wasn't impressed having to come back down carrying all kinds of stuff. Fortunately it was a very small run. lol
