Zwee, I have a similar problem with numb toes, mostly my left foot. I have always had problems getting a proper boot fit with new ski boots and have spent as much as $200 (US) with a boot fitter to get it right. When I replaced my worn out ski boots 3 years ago, I evaluated 2 ski boots both made here in USA, Dale's Boots (Utah) and Apex Boots made here in Colorado. I opted for the Apex boot because it offered the walking comfort of a snowboard boot and protection of the toe & heal pieces because the rigid frame is easily removed when leaving the slopes for walking. Because of a health issue in December I have only skied about20 days this season and I continue to suffer numb toes in my left foot despite many trips back to the boot fitter. I have a less severe intermittent issue with toes on my right foot. This week I totally removed the foot bed and that relieved most of the toe numbness even in my left foot. I have large calf muscles and my next move will be to ask the boot fitter to give me more room at the top of the boots for my calf muscles. If this fails, I will consider buying the custom fitted Dale Boot for next season. I have a friend from NJ who skies with me here each season who has the Dale Boot and it works for his foot problems. If you want to contact a boot fitter for the Apex boot I am working with Paul at Larson's ski shop in Wheatridge, Colorado.I hope this helps.
