I have just arrived at Geneva airport. I was worried about how busy the border crossing was going to be as I had heard that there were border checks in place but there were no queues or signs of any checks taking place.

I feel a bit uneasy at the airport. Lots of people in face masks and even some people wearing gloves as well.

All of the resorts in Andorra are since yesterday closed for the season. Government has ordered all establishments to close, exceptions being pharmacies, grocery stores and gas stations. Anyone breaking this order faces an up to 20000 euro fine.

Not the end to the season anyone would have envisioned, but most governments (besides the stubborn Frenchies it seems) are taking the "rather safe than sorry" approach.

See you guys next season!!

Just seen on news that France has ordered the closure of all non-essential places used by the public from midnight (23:00 GMT Saturday). The measure applies to restaurants, cafes, cinemas and nightclubs as well as non-essential businesses. So presumably that'll be all the ski resorts....
