Hopefully cold enough over night for the snow making to kick in as there isn't a lot in the long term forecast.

I took the plunge and booked for Christmas as the availability was dropping dramatically so frantic web cam and forecast viewing from now on.

Hopefully some snow fall around the 18th, I'm still optimistic

The webcams still show what looks like good snow up top so I share your optimism. A good dump to freshen it all up would be good though.

First eyeball report of the season from your man in Soldeu. Beautiful sunny days skiing over to Pas and back. Snow a bit thin and hard in places but some good skiing to be had. More snow definitely required for full cover but in the meantime resort snow management is working hard, and all links are open.

Thanks Brucie. A few of the forecast sites seem to be predicting some natural stuff over the weekend / early next week so fingers crossed for that.

Grandvalira seem to do a great job on the artificial front. A few recent videos I have seen show pretty good snow all things considered.

Any news from Grandvalira? Heading out on honeymoon on the 18th and have noticed the open ski area slowly eroding...

I am heading out on 21st so interested as well Whagwan. I saw a couple of videos on you tube which were from the other day and it looked pretty good. The webcams from Grandvalira.com also look pretty good considering the lack of natural snow. Hopefully some natural stuff will fall as forecast before we go.

Congratulations by the way and hop you have a great honeymoon.
