Hi Everyone! Its me! Ive now persuaded my Son (who was on the Sauze J2Ski Trip last year) to come to the marvellous resort of Alpe D'Huez in 2016.He didnt need much of a hint, as we were skiing there this Easter, and have been for the last previous 5 seasons, only he has nabbed my double room which leaves me needing a Share. So if anyone was thinking about booking but didnt want to pay the single supplement, get in touch with our Group Leader!!!

I'm a non smoker 50 ish something non snorer.

An update on next years trip to the Hotel Christina on 30th January.
Full details are on the first page of this thread.

Basic holiday is half board and includes transfer from airport/train station. A £40 discount for self-drive.

The hotel is very nearly full now.
We have space for a single female to share @£445
There are three superior twins available @ £485 per person.
A triple room (three single beds) @£445 each.
Two family rooms, great with under 12's, about the same as other rooms with adults.

Our group is now 24 strong - very mixed across abilities, although I don't think we have any first timers this year. Ages from late teens up to **cough cough** much older. We do have 7 more "thinking about it", but first come first served on rooms.

If you want any more info then PM me please.

Ski planning has moved on, so as ever, Austria for January, Colorado for a couple of weeks in March, and ~~~~ and ADH for February. However, we are fitting in with friends, so the exact dates will be up to others, but I guess it will be a one in three chance of meeting up.

I have a feeling that my lift pass costs are likely to quadruple this season.....

There is no such thing, YoungAndy. I did ask for a pass reduction at the skiwelt, a few years back. They offered a discount if you were over 80, as long as your grandparents were still alive....

Because I am wedded to Austria, I have, for many years bought a season card, for either the Allstar, or Tirol. Not this season, I am afraid, I am being coerced into re-visiting places I have skied over.

I fear the Colorado 2 week pass is likely to cost more than a European season card.
